The Boys : Amazon will premiere the first three episodes of Boys Season 3 today and will start the rest weekly to expand the conversation about the new season with ongoing experimentation in the release format.
Inundated with early reviews … Boys don’t seem to lose that touch.
As of , Boys Season 3 is compared to the last two of Rotten Tomatoes as follows:
Season 1 – 85% critic score, 89% viewer score
Season 2-Critique score 97%, Viewer score 79%
Season 3-critic score 97%, viewer score 89%
If there are slight fluctuations in Season 3 (despite me writing this), this is another great season for what has become Amazon’s flagship series, with endless green lights ahead. It’s clear that there’s room for one or more spin-offs that you already know, but it’s coming.
Amazon Prime Video has fewer hits than its well-known competitors, but they have landed some knockouts. Reacher was another record that hit with a similarly high score (90% critics, 90% audience). Marvelous Mrs. Maisel performed well over four seasons.
But the Boys did almost impossible things to create a world of high-profile superheroes independent of DC (owned by Warner Bros.). And HBO Max) and Marvel (owned by Sony, Disney, Disney Plus). The source material you can count on is much more limited, but the show hasn’t stopped for the past three years, with highly talented casts and seemingly zero restrictions on how far you can push adult series content. It exploded.
I think it’s good to release three episodes and then release them weekly. Something like Stranger Things will debut in huge numbers, and after 6 days we’ll see almost all Netflix competitors do this on the show, with the exception of Netflix itself, where no one even talks about it. I’ve been. Meanwhile, boys are talking about the town every Friday. This includes episode 6 titled Herogasm and you have to wait. You know. You know.
Rest assured that The Boys has been re-delivered for now. We expect Amazon to ride this wave as long as possible, including spin-offs that reach the same criteria, but we have to wait.
